On 20 July 2016, the finance channel of China Central Television (“CCTV”) reported about the development of China's mould industry in a program named “The Robust Growth of Mould Sales for Automobiles and Smartphones over the Last Three Consecutive Years”. Mr. Zhang Yaohua, Chief Executive Officer of EVA, was interviewed during the television program.
Mr. Zhang Yaohua said, “The robust growth of China's automobile mould industry attracted a lot of mould makers to enter into this business.” He also said that EVA had been providing automobile moulds and components to various automakers since 2011, and its sales had been growing continuously. He also told the reporters that the rapid development of new energy vehicles in China in the past two years generated a lot of new opportunities for automobile mould companies.
According to statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the China's new energy vehicle industry underwent significant growth with a production volume of 379,000 units in 2015, a growth by 3.5 times as compared to the corresponding period. China has also become the world's largest market for suppliers in new energy vehicle industry. Mr. Zhang also pointed out that new energy vehicles are smarter cars which require stronger structural strength and higher safety standards. Accordingly, EVA will devote more attention to the development of high tensile products with a view to meeting market demand.
